Ride YAMAHA App Reviews

This app is super fun if youre learning to shift, or just want to have a little fun! My only concern is that there is no banshee (350). Would be great to have one,please.

Im a fan of Yamaha bikes, but this app is a waste. The least they could have done is given you actual throttle control based on tilt, but instead the thing just checks for movement then blips the throttle about a second after you twist the phone. What is this? Severe turbo lag on a turboless bike? Or maybe very dirty fuel jets? Shouldnt this thing be fuel injected or something? Perhaps the ECU programmer has still has some serious work to do on those bikes because the iPhone app programmer sure does! If youre a multiple-billion dollar industrial conglomerate and you want to create a free iPhone app for advertising your $10,000 product then heres an idea: spend more than 5 minutes working on the app!

If all I wanted to do is twist a throttle, I would go out to my garage and start the GSX-R. I was expecting much more. Maybe having Rossi ride around a track. This app is super lame! 

Pro: good bike. Cons: cant seem to get it out of second gear, when its in blip mode it just lasts for about a second or two, and you have to tilt too much.

To get out of first to the guy below me you have to have it in ride mode. Overall I love the app!!! Saves me the trouble of having to make the sounds with my mouth!!!!!!

Id rather ride my 2010 Kawasaki Ninja 250r than sit here and play with this failed app.

Its cool and all. But it would be way cooler if the motorcycle had different gears. It would sound way cooler.

I was in ride and rode the bike but sometimes when I ride the bike it stops like it got stuck

Now I have an ap for my bike! You should include the programable shift light on the next upgrade.

I love yamahas and this app was disappointing. Please fix the accelerometer and shifting in the next update.

Update it to make it seem more like ur really riding with a HUD and everything.

Make it so if you tilt your ipod 1/2 way up it does 1/2throttle

I guess the sound from the iPhone is as good as your going to get but the app was a waste of time.

If Yamaha included an accessories configuration app similar to the one Triumph has out along with the sound effect maker this app would have been worth a download. There are not even 3D representations of the bikes in the app.

It could be better if add more bike and Have more options and settings
